I have shown you the methods that lead to liberation but you should know that liberation depends upon you

All the water and drink you've consumed From beginningless time until now  Has failed to satisfy your thirst or bring you contentment. 

Drink therefore of this stream Of enlightened mind, Fortunate Ones.

It is not appearances that bind you, it is your reactions.

Cut through your reactions

Hatred does not cease by hatred, but only by love; this is the eternal rule.

Examine thus yourself from every side.
Note harmful thoughts and every futile striving.
Thus it is that heroes in the bodhisattva path
Apply the remedies to keep a steady mind.

Samsara is to see fault in others.

All the joy the world contains has come through wishing happiness for others

All the misery the world contains has come from wishing pleasure for oneself.

No thought, no reflection, no analysis, no cultivation, no intention; let it settle itself.

The affairs of the world will go on forever. Do not delay the practice of meditation.
